TX/RX is a non-profit Hackerspace in Houston offering classes, lab space, and collective knowledge. They are a project based group of makers, inventors, tinkerers, artists, crafters, and coders.
Their goals are to bring creative people together and to make opaque scientific and technical concepts accessible to everyone through education.
All you have to do is go to their website, see if any of their classes/workshops interest you, then book it! They have a large variety of classes for all ages, so teens can also learn a little something this summer.
If you see a class that is full or isn’t available, you can just sign up for an email notification so you don’t have to keep checking the website day in day out.
If you feel as if you don’t want to book a class just yet because you don’t know anything about TX/RX Labs, you can head on over to the Open House they host every Friday at 7 p.m. and check out the huge facility!
